Founded in April 1988 as CADEC Automation, we are now
known as Groupe CADEC. The company's goal was to furnish bakeries
with specialized support for automation 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. At that time, most services provided by Groupe CADEC were
related to equipment maintenance, technical support, fabricating
CSA-approved (Canadian Standards Association) control panels, and
programming programmable logical controllers (PLC). During the first
years of its existence, Groupe CADEC took part in several projects
with bakeries, such as Weston, Culinar, Lanthier, and Multi-Marques.
Pursuing constant expansion and diversification, Groupe
CADEC relocated to the industrial park of Bromptonville, just outside
of Sherbrooke in September 1992. To fulfill the growing need for
industrial computing, the company created Liaison PLC-PC. This company
specializes in services to manufacturers in the areas of industrial
programming (man/machine interfaces (MMIs), industrial computers,
customized control systems, communication interfaces, etc.). Liaison
PLC-PC also sets up data-collection systems, programmable logical
controllers, (PLCs), personal computers (PCs), and distributed control
systems (DCS).
More recently, two more divisions were created in order
to offer a wider range of services in control: Groupe Conseil CIRPA,
specializing in electrical engineering in the fields of control
and instrumentation, and Liaison PC-NET, providing expert services
to Groupe CADEC's customers. Liaison PC-NET handles advanced networking
and computing skills, both on the corporate and production levels,
the latter used to come under Liaison PLC-PC.
Always one step ahead of the competition and after
merging to all its divisions, Groupe CADEC can provide sound technical
advice and support to your company in the implementation systems
suited to your specific needs. In addition, Groupe CADEC can play
an important role in making your ideas reality and offers the possibility
of integrating specialists into your workforce for the duration
of the project. Groupe CADEC employs over 55 capable professional
engineers and technicians to respond to the increasing automation
needs of this market.
